Inanna was initiated by Jeeya Shah, a 12th grader from Anand Niketan School in the city of Ahmedabad, India. This noble cause is supported by Yuva Unstoppable well established and active non profit organization.
Inanna Initiative aims to close these gaps by giving these girls access to menstrual hygiene products.
Inanna initiative is committed to raise awareness regarding menstrual hygiene, and to provide basic sanitary items for underprivileged girls. We hope to create a safe and supportive environment for these girls. Welcome to Inanna

VISION
We want to explore several options for improving menstrual hygiene in public schools. We want to educate girls who know little or nothing about menstruation. These girls will be educated about their body changes before they even experience them.
Second, we want to ensure that every girl can easily access menstrual products they cannot afford. In order to achieve this, we will install sanitary napkin dispensers in these schools’ lavatories. These girls will become more confident about menstruation by receiving such hygiene and education.
We want to create a society where young girls no longer feel afraid to have open and honest discussions about their bodies. It is important to us that we break down these barriers and embrace cycles.
